A step in the right direction for health & balance
WHAT IS REFLEXOLOGY?
Reflexology is a holistic, non-invasive modality which complements other therapies & modern medicine. It benefits everyone from conception to aged care. Reflexology is the application of pressure & soothing techniques to the areas of feet, hands, face or ears. Amputees may also benefit from reflexology.
WHAT ARE PROVEN BENEFITS OF REFLEXOLOGY?
Balances the nervous system
Improves sleep quality
Boosts lymphatic function
Detoxifies the body
Enhances the body's natural healing process
Balances all body systems
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Reflexology stimulates the circulation to restore energy flow which helps clear blockages which may have occurred due to stress, toxins, illness, emotions & injury. Reflexology has been a part of human life for over 3000 years & is once again becoming part of health care systems around the world.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT FROM A REFLEXOLOGY SESSION?
At your first session you will be given a brief explanation of reflexology, it's benefits & possible reactions you may experience.
If you are having a foot reflexology treatment you will be asked to remove all of your footwear & your feet will be examined.
The practitioner will then apply relaxation techniques to your feet in preparation for working the reflex areas. The pressure used will be adjusted to your level of sensitivity.
The session will be discussed with you & suggestions made for the best course of action to achieve your health goals.
A series of sessions may be required if the condition is of a chronic nature. Regular reflexology sessions are beneficial in maintaining health & wellbeing.
